Rudy Daniels is a retired Assistant Dean and Department Chair of Railroad Operations Technology at Western Iowa Tech Community College in Sioux City, Iowa. He has written the official history of United States railroads, Trains Across the Continent, contributing editor of the Railway Atlas of North America, Railroading on Three Continents, and has just finished The Great Railroad War.
