In-Library Events for Kids

Due to our COVID-19 restrictions; there will not be in-library activities at this time. Online Story Time videos are available to watch from home on our Facebook page or the library's Youtube Channel here. Hope to see you at these programs soon. Take & Make Craft Kits available to take home. New crafts each month.


Pages & Play Club:

All ages welcome when it is safe for us to get together again! Join Miss Katie at our Pages & Play Club every Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.
Each week will have a different theme. Our focus is on early literacy games and activities. Children will enjoy games, crafts projects,
songs, musical instruments, blocks, tunnels, lacing cards, rhymes, a special story and group playtime.

Lego Club @ the Library:

This club meets every 2nd Wednesday of each month from 4:00-5:00 p.m. Duplo blocks are available are available for the younger kids.
Come join us for building and learning FUN!

Library Tours & Class Visits:

A visit to the library is an excellent way to encourage a love of books and reading. Special tours can be arranged for groups of children
upon request. Children will be shown around the library and given special instruction on the library's automated computer system.

Reservations are required. Please call 319-283-1515 at least two weeks prior to your planned visit to arrange your tour.
