Iowa Adventure Pass

The Iowa Adventure Pass program is available through the Oelwein Public Library to residents of the City of Oelwein and rural Fayette County. If you live in another city, please check with your home library to see if they offer the Iowa Adventure Pass program.
Venues available with your Oelwein Public Library card are: The Blank Park Zoo, The Science Center of Iowa,
The Des Moines Children's Museum, The Grout Museum, Museum of Danish America, International Quilt Museum, and the Glenn Miller Birthplace Museum.
This program is sponsored by The Friends of the Oelwein Public Library.

How it works:

  • You must be:
    • An Oelwein resident or a Rural Fayette County resident.
    • An Oelwein Public Library cardholder.
    • 18 years old or older.
    • Your card must be in good standing with a balance less than $2.00.
  • Reserve your Adventure Pass by clicking on the link above.
  • Each Oelwein Public Library cardholder may reserve a pass to each venue once per year.
  • Each one-day pass is good for the day for which it is reserved.
  • To gain admission to attractions the cardholder must present: 
    • A valid photo ID. The name on the pass must match the name on the photo ID.
    • A printed pass. A digital copy from your phone or other device will not be accepted.
  • Each pass allows admission for up to four (4) people, including up to two (2) adults and two (2) children.
